Course Outline
Learn to create stencils for screen printing in this two part course. Janie will guide you to create your own designs in Week 1, followed by printing the designs onto a variety of fabrics in Week 2. Bring simple design ideas with you and any fabric/t-shirts you want to print onto. All equipment provided as part of the course. About your teacher Janie Andrews is a painter, textile and mosaic artist with over 30 years of experience of running her own company to create one off special artworks through commissions, residencies and for exhibitions. Janie enjoys sharing her skills through workshops with people from many walks of life and spends a lot of time as a Visiting Artist to facilitate and create special artworks with artists and communities both remote and urban. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS Please choose carefully as course fees will not be refunded to participants who are unable to attend the course due to changes in personal circumstances or work commitments. Course fees will not be refunded once confirmation and/or commencement of the course has occurred. Joining a course after it has started is at the discretion of administration and the course tutor therefore full course costs may still be incurred. ​In the event of a serious illness, you may request to transfer to the following term. A full refund of course fees will be paid if the advertised course does not proceed. Participants will be advised if a class does not have the minimum number of students to commence.
