Adult Short Courses
Previously known as Adult Night Classes at Casuarina Senior College, our Adult Short Courses have been enriching the Darwin community since 1987. These non-accredited courses offer a fantastic opportunity to meet like-minded individuals while learning new skills in a relaxed and engaging environment.

From April 2019, the program has been managed by the Darwin Languages Centre, with all courses held on-site at 1 Nemarluk Drive, Ludmilla, unless otherwise stated in the course outline.
Booking Policy
​​Minimum Student Numbers
​Each course requires a minimum number of participants to proceed. If your chosen course does not meet this requirement, it may be deferred or cancelled. You will be notified in the week leading up to the start date and can either remain on the waitlist until numbers are met or receive a full refund.

Who Can Enrol?
Courses are open to adults aged 18 and over. Please note children cannot enrol or attend adult courses. From time-to-time DASC runs courses specifically for children, these will be marked as such and will state the age of children who may enrol.​​

Fees & Materials
Course fees cover tuition and, in some cases, materials. Some courses may require additional purchases, which will be outlined in the course details.

Enrol Early!
To secure your spot, we recommend enrolling as early as possible. Waiting until the week before classes start may result in missing out due to full capacity or course cancellation due to low enrolment numbers.

Refund Policy

No refunds will be issued for personal circumstances or work commitments once a course has been confirmed or commenced.

If you are unable to attend due to a serious illness, you may request a transfer to the following term.

If a course is cancelled due to insufficient enrolments, a full refund will be provided.

If you wish to enrol after a course has commenced it will be at the discretion of the tutor and/or administration and the full course fee may still apply.
